CFD Comparison of multiphase models in the pool boiling state

Abstract With the development of simulation technology and programs, it became necessary to study models that control equations’ solutions influence results. The having over solving equations multiple phases materials are investigated. They include (Volume Fluid (VOF), mixture, Eulerian) controlling governing equations. was conducted depending on boiling point water. activation these three is carried out find which one better for issue compared previous numerical empirical research with surface tension coefficient affects behavior in a contaminated manner. best model explored case VOF merging steam bubbles, velocity flows 0.257 m/s both water steam, phase transition. effectiveness mirrored by higher efficiency accuracy solution volume fraction 0.9997. factor 0.072 property simulates real conditions surrounding used boiling, but significantly increases turbulence distribution gas bubbles.
